HealthUp is an operations management and population health advisory firm established to enhance community health outcomes using engagement approaches that rely on cross-sector partnerships focused primarily on under-served communities.
To impact health we have to grapple with some of the most complicated problems facing society. Because health is influenced by factors that are often beyond the reach of most clinical systems we look upstream to create partnerships with nimble, innovative, partners from other sectors. Partners who share our vision for creating sustainable improvements in all aspects of community life that impact health and well-being.
The framework we use is called “Junctional Thinking”, and is built on the skills, behaviors, and ideals our partners need to bring forward-thinking, action-oriented solutions to the communities we serve.

COVID-19 Preparedness & Response - with COVID-19 presenting a global threat causing a heightened sense of fear, anxiety, and stress, we have convened a trans-disciplinary group of public health experts, researchers, emergency managers, communications specialists, and experts in design to assist organizations, companies, and municipalities as they seek solutions to the problems this crisis presents. Our collective experience in emergency preparedness & response includes local (U.S.) deployments during SARS in 2003 and H1N1 in 2009.
