Pierre vigilance md mph

Pierre is a health executive with 20 years experience in community development, social determinants of health, people and operations management, population health strategy, and executive education from time spent working in the non-profit, government, and education sectors. He is a systems-level thinker who has established cross-sector partnerships to impact health and founded HealthUp as an advisory consultancy to assist organizations and companies dedicated to improving health and social outcomes in underserved communities.

Ramon Llamas MPH (LION)

Ramon has worked in a variety of settings in the public health and healthcare fields since 2005 and joined HealthUp’s advisory board in 2020. He works as an independent consultant with non-profits and early stage startups in public health, healthcare, and social services on business and program development, organizational strategy, and strategic partnerships. He is also a startup founder in the food innovation sector.

He works to impact health disparities by addressing the social determinants of health and advocating for health equity in community settings empowering individuals to be proactive participants in their own health and well-being.


Ramon graduated with a B.S. in Biological Sciences with a minor in Biomedical Engineering from the University of California, Irvine, and received a Master of Public Health with an emphasis in Health Education and Promotion from the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California.
